Meet the Principal
Mark Hannig
I was born and raised in Williston. I graduated from WHS in 1997. I attended college at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN from 1997-2001 receiving a B.A. in Political Science and History. I then received my teaching certification from Minnesota State University Moorhead. I lived in Fargo for the next few years, before I moved back to Williston in 2008. I have been a social studies teacher in WPSD #1 since 2009, first at WMS for 6 years and then at WHS for 3 years. In the spring of 2018, I completed my Master's of Educational Leadership from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT. I am married to Jessica Hannig, who is also a teacher at WPSD #1. We have two dogs, Kassi and Jax and love being here in Williston, ND.
