At the October 3, 2024, community meeting on school boundary setting, the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 was opened. The ceremony will take place in Williston Square at 1316 33rd St W. Construction for the new elementary school will commence this fall, with the school slated to open its doors in August 2026. This project is made possible by the passing of the bond referendum in April 2024, a major milestone in addressing the district’s continued enrollment growth. Student bus registration is completed annually. The registration deadline for the first day of bus service is July 31st. The last few days of school have been busy and exciting at McVay! Our first and third graders attended Public Works Outreach Day. The second graders went to Minot and visited the Magic City Discovery Center. We even had a petting zoo in the parking lot!
